Mohammed had come over to the UK to learn English & had been staying in the seaside town of
Hastings. On Friday, 22nd August, he was chased by a gang of white youths who had shouted racist
abuse at him. As he ran for his life, he fell & hit his head on the pavement, sustaining a brain
injury. (Some reports say he was actually attacked by the thugs). He was taken to hospital & was
well enough to receive a few visitors on the Saturday morning but very sadly, he had to be rushed to
another hospital later that day & where he lapsed into a coma & never regained consciousness.

Sleep peacefully Mohammed, I am so, so sorry this happened to you. If your parents should ever see
this, I offer my deepest sympathies for the loss of your lovely son. God bless. Gill xxxxx

God looked around his garden
